365 – Midmonth photos 62-76

I felt like this month breaking the 365 project up just a bit so you aren’t totally bombarded with photos at the end of the month, so here’s 1-15 also known as 62-76.

62/365 – Having our “chili” at the Chili Cookoff for the Newton County Firefighters Christmas for Kids tonight. Btw, my big sissy won!!

63/365 – Another victory for the Chiefs today with a score of 24/10 against the New York Jets. And Tbug got to experience her first game with a win!

When it comes to editing my photos…

| Blog |
Photoshop and Photoshop Elements are my go to but sometimes I go to picmonkey.com or ribbet.com depending on what I want to do and what will work best for me.

I’m getting better at Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, it surprises me so much. Especially when the other day at school I actually made my project in PSE.

I surprise myself sometimes :). ha! I got a 93/100 on this assignment. I agree with all the criticism too.

So when I’m on my phone and want to edit a photo… I use one app… That’s Camera+. Now I really like Square ready to make the Instagram ready if I’m uploading photos like my 365 project. I also like the ABM app. And since I’m doing a 365 project, Collect helps keep me on track to remember to take my photos, plus it helps keep them in a calendar.

So there you have it :). What apps am I missing out on??

My Camera Bag

Since I got my first dSLR in 2009 I’ve wanted a certain kind of camera bag, but to be honest with you I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted. My original camera bag came from I can’t even tell you but it was black with pink lining. It was okay and I thought I wanted it… but… eventually I wanted something different.

A friend of mine sells Thirty One and I saw that they had a cute camera bag so I went that route.

So it was okay but again, not quite what I was looking for. I must be picky… So I really wanted a purse like camera bag but didn’t find one I liked so I bought a purse last summer and tried to make a camera holder. Hmmm… still not what I was looking for so I kept on the search.

So earlier this summer I saw the Kelly Moore A Beautiful Mess Bag and thought that’s what I wanted. I saved my money up and we purchased it. We as in hubby got it for me because I was debating… and debating… and debating…

Let me say, GORGEOUS bag but it wasn’t what I thought I wanted so I contacted them about exchanging it. And then I need to scream from the roof top because I got my Camera bag in the mail and ABSOLUTELY. LOVE. IT!

Let’s just say I’m happy! Holy cow and they are awesome to deal with, especially if you have to exchange! Wow. So anyway I got the 2 Sues in Orange Sherbet. What’s cool was yesterday morning I was carrying my bag and a gal was behind me with the Indigo and we both can tell you, we Love this bag! Yup, we had a small conversation about it. Don’t worry, I took the papers off the zippers since then and put my stuff in it!

Maternity Photo Shoot Outtakes

Should I mention now that my family taking anything serious is sometimes far fetched? Well sometimes it is…. So without further ado, let’s look at some of the “funny” outtakes from our Maternity Photo Shoot a couple weeks ago….

We always make my mother so proud when we “pick each others noses” and when we stick our tongues out. What can I say, we accomplished both here!

Somehow when Tbug gets picked on, I’m the one who always gets beat up.

She was trying to put her hands on my belly but poor girl has short arms or something and it looked like she was grabbing my chest. I cracked up laughing.

Now at first glance you may be asking what my problem is… well look at hubby there… He’s licking my face….

There are no words.

If my hair was longer I could soooo be Cousin It from the Addams Family.

Another what in the heck was my problem. Yeah hubby grabbed my butt and he caught my face on film. Dang it because it’s really a good photo minus my face.

Then I went to give Tbug a wedgy and she yanked me to the ground with her. I had to explain she can’t do that to me.

Um… I have no clue what Tbug’s problem is. My problem was I had a hair stuck on my tongue.

Yeah no words!

Again… um…

And who doesn’t go around acting like they’re licking their arm pits… seriously!

And that my friends, shows why my mom loves when we take pictures. Don’t worry though, we got some good ones too. I’d hope at least out of 159 photos give or take. Happy Monday and hopefully you at least got a good laugh at us!

Pop the Eyes

Sorry, you may not be interested in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, however, I think I’m making myself more notes than anything.  That way I know where to go back once I can’t remember… LOL :).

Slowly but surely I’m trying to teach myself Photoshop.  Remember, that’s one of my 101 in 1001 items.  Although I’m not sure I’ll learn everything there is about photoshop in 1001 days, but that doesn’t mean I won’t give it my best effort.

So here is the photo Straight out of Camera (SOOC).

It’s a decent photo, but it could use some improvement.  What I’m going to show you here though, is how to pop his eyes.

As you can see here, I played with the coloring.  It was a bit on the blue side so I warmed it up a bit.  Yes we both need a tan, but not like the first photo shows!

Take Two – Fashion Blogger…

We’ve learned that I am not a fashion blogger.  But even for not being a fashion blogger, sometimes it’s fun to take pictures and believe I am one.  I ran out of the house with my cell phone and handed it to my husband, here take my picture please?

I’m thinking that models and fashion bloggers don’t go around sporting the nice “Farmer’s Tan”, but that’s just the way I role.  I worked hard for that tan.  In fact, later that afternoon I worked on a second set of tan lines with this shirt.  Later that day we were headed to the hayfield to pick up 135ish bales of Alfalfa hay.  Boy it was a hot day.  I think I sweat more this last weekend than I have in the last month combined.  It’s been extremely humid.  And a lot of people say, don’t you live in Southwest Missouri?  What do you know about humidity?  Let me tell ya something, we get our fair share by far.  It’s absolutely crazy!

Today there is a 50% chance of rain.  I’m wondering what it will do… Tuesday night there was like a 30% chance.  I guess it poured up on the square at the North end of town but at the ball fields at the south end of town it spit sprinkles here and there.  Once all ball games were over it picked up a bit but never poured like the North end of town received.  And I promise, our town isn’t all that large.

And every post needs a Photobomber, right?  Marlie just wanted her few minutes of fame.

if anyone is interested in knowing what I’m wearing…

//American Eagle jeans//Justin Boots Flip Flops {similar}//Old Navy Tank top//Montana West Belt//Belt Buckle I won showing horses//Wedding band – From hubs!//
So there we have it.  My attempt at being a fashion blogger again.  Not great, but whatever.  Practice makes perfect right?  We’ll stick with that and hope that it at least gets better someday, right??
Typically I’m not crazy about Thursday’s, I know they are the day before Friday but they are usually the longest day of the week in my opinion.  But today, I have fun things planned so maybe it won’t be so bad?  Next week this time Tbug will have been with us for a whole day.  She’s spending extra days with us this week.  Happy Thursday!
