A Few of My Favorite Things – Repost
This never came back so I’m bringing it back!
So Miss Amber tagged me in a post about my favorite things. If you don’t read her blog, you are so missing out! She is a transplant from North Dakota to SE Minnesota and she’s hilarious, not to mention right now on bed rest with not 1 but 2 babies, yup, that’s right, she’s about to pop out twins. When she’s not doing that she has the cutest daughter, funny hubby stories, plus she’s a RN going to be a Nurse Practitioner… she’ll lead you on many great adventures, check her out!!!
So now it’s my duty to tell you some of my favorite things {and no, not the song}.

My husband!
I’ll admit, sometimes he is a handful but I love him with all my heart! He was there for me when I needed someone the most and I know he’ll be there for me every day for the rest of my life. He Loves me that much!

My {step}daughter
She is a handful sometimes, but that may be because I’m not used to kids… come on people I was the youngest in my family… LOL. But she is a riot. She’s a Chatty Cathy too! But it’s fun to have her around the house and she claims me, even when other people try to tell her I’m not her “Mom”. Which yes she calls me mom even though I’m her step mom. I told my husband I didn’t care what she called me as long as it was respectful :), she chose to call me that. I’m also getting better about answering 😉

My Parents!
remember my mom hates having her photo taken 🙂 But if it weren’t for my parents, 1) I wouldn’t be here today and 2) I wouldn’t be the person I am today. They have always stood behind me and supported what I wanted to do 100%. Sometimes they would question me just to make me think, but in the end they’ve always supported my every decision!

My In-Laws!
They not only have raised my husband up to be the man he is today but they support him and I think they kind of like me too ;). I mean after all I can’t speak for them, right?? LOL.

Riding and showing Cutting horses!
I was riding horses before I could walk. No really look!
and I’ve been thrown off or fallen off more times than I can even begin to count. In fact one year at our county fair I was kind of being a show off, mom’s mare decided she didn’t want to go that way and left me sitting on the ground holding the reins. What can you do, get up, dust yourself off, laugh, get back on and go again. Although I kind of quit the show-off part 🙂

Dogs. I love dogs. I’ve had many dogs in my lifetime too!

Sheep. I got into showing them in FFA and I grew a fond closeness for them!

My home. It has it’s oddities and it’s quirks but I still am really fond of it 🙂

Traveling. I love to travel. My goal is to travel to all 50 states. I’ve been out of the country one time, I went to Costa Rica in college on a study abroad. Oh. My. Gosh. was that the best time! I won’t limit my travels though just to the US. Someday I’m going to travel the world!

One of my favorite things to do is cook! If you can’t tell… I love cooking and I love cooking tools! I could live in kitchen stores!
