  • Bird Hunter

Oh where to start… No, I’m not referring to duck hunters or anything of the sorts… I’m talking about hunting a bird. Let’s back up…. So the other day we happened to be at the local dive shop we hang out at… On the side of the shop toward the back there is a big…

  • Revolt me

So you know that workout regimen I’ve been doing… Revolt?  I’m still in love with it.  It is extremely challenging.  Oh and did you know that I’ve been doing this for a few (ha) weeks now and it still challenges me ever single day?  Sadly on Friday when I was doing my upper body workout…

  • Interesting Story

I swear, sometimes only interesting stories happen to me, my family, at our house, etc. I hope we aren’t the only people who this happens to, but sometimes you can’t help but just laugh. So let me paint the picture… So four weeks ago Princess Rio was acting a little bit funny. We kind of…

  1. You are so right! The Youngun is with her Granny Bob and Pop Pop right now. She loves to spend time with them, and I'd never stop her from going, even if I wish she'd stay home a little bit more. I still miss my grandparents!

  2. She sounds like she was a wonderful person, and I'm sure she knew how much she was loved by you. What a lovely, sad story…and you're absolutely right; we do need to show our grandparents our love before it's too late. I'll spend the rest of my life regretting I wasn't a better grandchild to my grandparents.

  3. Honestly – if I paid for my sisters education and she did that, I'd kill her! I do love her story – one day I'll share my grandmother's story, its a very hard but inspiring one!

Thanks for reminding us how important family is!

  4. I know what you mean about being grateful for all the time you knew your grandmother-I was the oldest grandkid, and was 17 when Pappy died. I have more memories than all the other kids, and it makes me sad in a way. Because they didn't get to have as much time… but I'm so grateful I did. I wish John could have met him too. It's hard losing grandparents.
