A short history lesson on the type of horses I show, the phrase “Fresh cattle” means a cow that has never been worked by a horse. We aren’t talking that the horse will eat the cattle… LOL

This last weekend started off with celebrating my grandpa’s birthday Friday night. On our way down to pick my grandma up my dad got a phone call from a friend asking him to come over and ride horses Saturday morning. I knew hubby had plans on cleaning up around the house… no specifics were know,…
Don’t you absolutely love having conversations with kids sometimes? You just never know what will come out of their mouth… seriously! Ok so let me paint the picture… Sunday we were riding around on the 4-wheeler picking up rocks and sticks and looking for a piece to the mower when I killed the 4-wheeler. I…
Yesterday Prince Charming got up and made me breakfast (yum! It was hashbrowns with sausage & cheese!!) and then we got dressed and went to Church. His dad is finally out of the hospital so we went to his church. We offered to take him and bring him home but he had a ride there…
I’m getting closer to not being able to say that I can’t count the times I’ve gone trail riding on one hand… the current count is 4. Now, this doesn’t include riding all over the place at my parents/grandparents house checking for cattle, this only includes going to a place specifically for trail riding. The…
This has been a day of emotional roller coaster rides. But on the plus side, the positive side, the side that matters, my mother-in-law and my husband have been there for me in a time I really needed someone. Then my dad met hubby and I for lunch and gave me more soothing words. Things…

I'm not familiar with the headgear, bosal part of your gear. Looks interesting, like it would give you more lateral control than the bosal we use. Care to explain it?
How old is the horse? How long has it been cutting?
I really enjoyed reading the posts on your blog. I would like to invite you to come on over to my blog and check it out. God bless, Lloyd
