Do you smell that?
A short history lesson on the type of horses I show, the phrase “Fresh cattle” means a cow that has never been worked by a horse. We aren’t talking that the horse will eat the cattle… LOL

A year ago I really wanted to start a garden. It just wasn’t in the cards. We were trying to finish up our house and there was no time for a garden. Gardens are actually a lot of work. I had one a few years ago that was a small raised bed. I tended it…
He so needs a caption, what can you come up with? Nicole
We’ve been having fun around these parts. When you can’t go anywhere or do anything, might as well make the most of it the best way you can. When I was younger, I wanted nothing more than to show at the fair. While I showed horses so I could compete that way, that’s not really…
I’m back at it… Another Photo Contest. This month’s theme over at I Heart Faces is Pets. My horses are part of my pets. They are family members, even if they do sleep in the barn or the field. So here is my submission to the Pets theme.
A week ago Saturday the family loaded up and headed to Springfield to watch the PBR. Yes, I’m a bit behind… things happen and at least I’m sharing these fabulous photos with you, right? I only had 1,208 photos to weed through :). Burnt Toast from Branson, MO was the opening act Flint Rasmussen is…
I woke up on November 12, 2018, wondering if I still lived in Southwest Missouri. Why do you ask? Because we got snow. Snow in November. That doesn’t typically happen in Southwest Missouri until late December or January if any at all. And it wasn’t just a light dusting… oh no… it was flat out…

I'm not familiar with the headgear, bosal part of your gear. Looks interesting, like it would give you more lateral control than the bosal we use. Care to explain it?
How old is the horse? How long has it been cutting?
I really enjoyed reading the posts on your blog. I would like to invite you to come on over to my blog and check it out. God bless, Lloyd
