Comfort Inn, Oxford, MS

So if there’s one thing I love to do, it’s travel. My goal is to go to travel to all 50 states as well as all over the world! But you can only do one little thing at a time.

So here recently my Faulkner class made a trip to Oxford, MS since that is where William Faulkner himself lived. Our class stayed at the Comfort Inn. You can even see my room there from here… I was on the 2nd floor first door from the left.

I swear, King beds will spoil me :). The couch pulled out into a hide-a-bed also.

Hey y’all I’m here :). Being in Oxford where Ole Miss is, I guess they have a very modernized accent or something because sadly I didn’t hear a huge Mississippi drawl.

Great parking job, right?

Okay it was finally time for bed. This was a great trip. The first night we were there, there were a bunch of people who couldn’t figure out when/where/how to park a truck and trailer. It was quite humorous.

Oh and they had breakfast in the mornings!! Biscuits and Gravy, Waffles, Muffins, Cereal, Bagels, Coffee, Juice, Milk. Not to shabby!!

I was sad my pillows got left there. They said I could arrange Fedex or UPS to come by and get them but that would have cost me $30, I was sad they wouldn’t help me out anymore. Otherwise it wasn’t a bad place to stay. And I know it was my fault they were left but still :(.

New Year’s Day the last couple years has been spent diving. I have yet to dive on New Years but that’s besides the point! I seriously debated it this year, but in the end, I didn’t. I’m a chicken I guess or maybe I’m smart… you decide. I’m not the best passenger in a vehicle….

  • How to: Make a Travel Map

I absolutely LOVE to travel. And I even used to think I was a world traveler. I’m not although I have one stamp in my passport that expired 3 years ago. That’s something right? Anyway one of my goals is to travel to at least all 50 states. So far I’ve been to: Arizona, Arkansas,…
