Snead’s BBQ – Belton, MO
Ok so a few weeks ago when we went to KC for the weekend we had plans of stopping by Snead’s BBQ in Belton, MO. Ever since I met back up with my husband that’s all he talked about was Snead’s BBQ and how we had to go eat there.
Well that Friday when we headed to KC, things didn’t go as planned and we didn’t make it there, but never fear, they were open on Sunday and we hit them on the way home!
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday – Thursday 11am to 9pm
Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm
Sunday 11am to 9pm
CLOSED MONDAYS
Truth be told, I’m not a huge BBQ fan. Now we can debate BBQ vs a barbeque grill, not going there this time :)… we’re talking about ribs & meats that have been slathered in BBQ sauce. I’m just clarifying :). But, don’t get me wrong, I do like BBQ too, just not something I crave.
I wound up with a Brisket sandwich. The fries were out of this world and I don’t generally eat fries these days.
Hubby had the Fried Catfish. I’ll admit, I’m not a fish person (which I say a lot) and i actually thought it was pretty darn good. Although I must tease my sweet husband, going to a BBQ joint and getting fried catfish… That’s like going to a steak house and getting fish, oh wait he does that :). I love you baby!
This place was really good. In fact hubby always buys some of their BBQ sauce to take home with him. I have a refrigerator full :).
And I definitely see a trip there again in our future :).
