Handwriting….

Thursday I was reading Jessica’s (Heart on Homestead) post and she got tagged into doing a “Handwriting” post.  Yeah I’m a nerd like that… I thought it was cool!  At the bottom hers said to tag 3-5 people, but she tagged anyone and everyone… so Of Course, I thought I’d play along.  I sure hope you can read my handwriting.  The pen I used was a very light pen (even though it’s blue ink) and I write light anyway… so good luck.  (If you click on the photo it will make it larger :))

Here are the Questions we were to answer:

1. What’s your name / blogger name?
2. What’s your blog’s URL?
3. Write “The quick fox jumps over the lazy dog.”
4. Favorite quote?
5. Your favorite song?
6. Your favorite band / singers?
7. Anything else you want to say?
8. Tag 3 – 5 other people.

If you chose to participate too, please let me know, I’d love to come take a look!!!

Earlier this month my dad was reading the Big Nickel newspaper and saw that the Christmas train happened this last weekend. One day it was from Seligman, MO to Rogers, AR and I don’t remember the other day. I don’t remember because we were planning on the Saturday trip, we had plans for that Sunday….

Hi. Did you miss me? Did you notice I haven’t blogged since Monday? I read more than once that you’re not supposed to draw attention to the fact that you haven’t been blogging. So I just broke one blogging rule, although I’m not sure it’s a set in stone type rule. Did you know I…

  • Opinionated

*sigh* sometimes I wish I wasn’t so opinionated or at least I’d learn to keep my opinions to myself. I have no idea how I got so opinionated either. And a lot of times my opinions aren’t always in the happiest of thoughts either. Other times my opinions are taken like they should be but…

Today is my 33rd birthday. I’m struggling with that number. While I’m happy that I am on this side of the ground, I’ve always heard that your 30’s are better than your 20’s. I mentioned that to my dad yesterday morning and he said it’s all in perspective. Perspective… Okay. Well if it is about…

So if you’re not an avid horse lover, you may not know what Crow Hopping is when dealing with horse terms. Crow Hop – A style of bucking where a horse arches its back and takes short, stiff hops. All four legs come off the ground, but usually not very far; with some horses the…

  1. Your handwriting is great! Mine, totally illegible, so there's no point in doing a similar exercise since noone would be able to read what I wrote! LOL

You mentioned Al Gore's view on global warming…I'm in complete agreement with your former vice president; we ARE experiencing colder winters due to global warming, as weird as that sounds.

It's to do with the currents in the oceans. In a very simplified nutshell: take Scandinavia for example…we're basically too far north to be inhabitable, and the only thing creating a habitable climate is something called the Gulf Stream…a reeeaaally big and strong stream originating somewhere around the Gulf of Mexico, and making it's way up here…what it does is bring warmer water, which in turn affects our climate. This is where the 'warming thing' comes in. Global warming is warming and melting our polar ice caps…this creates cold water streams…which affect and alter the current ocean streams…which, as mentioned, affect our climate.

Totally a simplistic explanation, I realize, but your former vice president is a very intelligent man and should be taken seriously when it comes to his views on the environment!
