Comfort Inn, Oxford, MS

So if there’s one thing I love to do, it’s travel. My goal is to go to travel to all 50 states as well as all over the world! But you can only do one little thing at a time.

So here recently my Faulkner class made a trip to Oxford, MS since that is where William Faulkner himself lived. Our class stayed at the Comfort Inn. You can even see my room there from here… I was on the 2nd floor first door from the left.

I swear, King beds will spoil me :). The couch pulled out into a hide-a-bed also.

Hey y’all I’m here :). Being in Oxford where Ole Miss is, I guess they have a very modernized accent or something because sadly I didn’t hear a huge Mississippi drawl.

Great parking job, right?

Okay it was finally time for bed. This was a great trip. The first night we were there, there were a bunch of people who couldn’t figure out when/where/how to park a truck and trailer. It was quite humorous.

Oh and they had breakfast in the mornings!! Biscuits and Gravy, Waffles, Muffins, Cereal, Bagels, Coffee, Juice, Milk. Not to shabby!!

I was sad my pillows got left there. They said I could arrange Fedex or UPS to come by and get them but that would have cost me $30, I was sad they wouldn’t help me out anymore. Otherwise it wasn’t a bad place to stay. And I know it was my fault they were left but still :(.

One of my absolute favorite things to do is to cook. I’m pretty calm, cool, and collected when I’m in the kitchen, even under semi stressful situations. So let me paint this picture. We’ve been working on our house, it feels like non-stop. Some days walking in there is so… almost depressing, but some days it feels like nothing is happening. It is… but it’s happening up in the attic where you just don’t see results other than more lights are popping up as well as electrical plugins….
