IHOP – Branson MO

Our “Saturday Night Dinner” happened to be at the local IHOP in Branson after we left Steal Your Dollar Silver Dollar City.

I’m fairly certain that my mom would be proud that we parked away from everyone else 🙂

There were 15 of us, I kind of felt weird going around taking pictures of everyone’s food, so I stuck to Hubby, Tbug’s and mine.  It was easier that way, however, JT wondered just what I was up to.  It’s always fun explaining yourself to someone new :).

Hubby went with the Big Steak Omelette

Tender strips of steak, hash browns, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and Cheddar cheese.

It came with a side of pancakes (which I didn’t get a picture of).  Hubby liked the omelet but he and everyone who had the pancakes went on and on and on about how fabulous the pancakes were.  In fact, he wished he’d have skipped the omelet and stuck with just the pancakes.  I didn’t either one this time, which is odd.

Originally Tbug decided she was going to order a cheeseburger off of the kid’s menu, but then after she heard that I was thinking about the Philly Cheese Steak Stacker she asked if she could glance through the rest of the menu.  I told her to go for it.  That’s when she decided to order what I was ordering.  We both got the Philly and a side salad with Ranch.

Grilled Philly Steak and Onions topped with grilled American Cheese on a Grilled Roll.

So I have to tell you this was an AWESOME Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich.  Tbug though, she ate just around half of hers and said she was full.  I told her that was fine, don’t eat anymore, we’ll take the rest home with us.  I made comment to hubby to try it (it was that good) but he said he was full so the next thing I knew Tbug decided she was going to finish it off.  I told her not to eat and make herself sick and she looked at me, said this is so good and I’m still hungry and she ate every last bite of it.

Sometimes I forget about IHOP but they make awesome breakfast and regular dinner food too.
