There’s a story, of a trip to Mermet… oh wait, that was last year’s theme song. There actually wasn’t a theme song this year… more of a quote… but I’m not putting that out there! It’s the yearly trek to Mermet Springs over in Metropolis Illinois. Last year on our way we found an Italian…

  • Neiman Marcus Cookies

I have been on a cookie kick somewhat lately between all the dozens of sugar cookies I’ve made to the no bake cookies to Neiman Marcus Cookies. I guess after a long day, especially if it hasn’t been ideal, it’s nice to know you can go into the kitchen, mix sugars, butters, vanillas, and flours…

  • How to: Make a Travel Map

I absolutely LOVE to travel. And I even used to think I was a world traveler. I’m not although I have one stamp in my passport that expired 3 years ago. That’s something right? Anyway one of my goals is to travel to at least all 50 states. So far I’ve been to: Arizona, Arkansas,…

Let’s dust off the cobwebs around here with a nice little fall/pumpkiny/Halloweenie type post. haha. Like that do ya? When hubby bought his truck, it’s a 3/4 ton Ford without gooseneck trailer hauling abilities. That seemed extremely crazy to me. Normally a bigger truck has the set up to haul a gooseneck trailer and when most of your trailers are gooseneck’s… you kind of need that ability. We did our research and we were…

I learned Abug gets her face making abilities from mommy…. So a while back… try last spring, last summer maybe… hubby and I had Karen and Jared over for dinner. I tried to make fried pies and let’s just say it was doomed from the start. I told Karen sometime we’d go to my grandma’s…

  1. Yea!! Love your list! So so cool you got to go scuba diving. And ice skating– I haven't been in years, actually right before the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake- I was able to go skating in the area that they had the speed skating competitions.

Thanks so much for linking up!

  2. I haven't been ice skating in over a year. This is a fantastic Happy List! I think it's funny that you and your hubby both tried to leave the house in your house shoes ;P

Do you ever post recipes? You need to share your new-found knowledge, LOL!

Thanks so much for linking-up. I'm your newest follower!
