Do you smell that?
A short history lesson on the type of horses I show, the phrase “Fresh cattle” means a cow that has never been worked by a horse. We aren’t talking that the horse will eat the cattle… LOL

I’m pretty sure I have a few more gray hairs… Remember a couple years ago when I was trying to teach Tbug how to drive a standard? I told her before she could get her driver’s license she had to be able to check the oil in the car (not change it, just check it),…
Snookums – She’s gotten so big. She’s a yearling now 🙂 “Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going too fast – you also miss the sense of where you are going and why” – Eddie Cantor
March 1st, 2001, a date I doubt I forget for a really long time. Do you want to know why? That was the first time I experienced a C-section on one of my ewes. About the 4th grade, I conned my parents into enrolling me in 4-H. 4-H wasn’t my favorite thing, but I wanted…
Friday Night when we picked Tbug up, she brought me these papers. They brought tears to my eyes.  Mother’s Day morning I got the pleasure of having Tbug with us. She woke me up with my present (which she didn’t have to get me… hubby! but I love you both!!)!! via And a wonderful…
Over a year ago, my aunt and uncle made Tbug a deal that she could come down and spend a week with them at their house, riding horses. Last summer, hubby and I couldn’t get her there. At Thanksgiving they made the offer again. Hubby and I knew we were going to get her there…
This weekend was a fairly busy weekend, being the last weekend before Christmas. Wow, can you believe that Christmas is this coming weekend!?!? Unreal! So I can’t completely tell you what I was up to this weekend, anyway not Saturday. It involves a Christmas present that I’m not ready to reveal yet… but here are…

I'm not familiar with the headgear, bosal part of your gear. Looks interesting, like it would give you more lateral control than the bosal we use. Care to explain it?
How old is the horse? How long has it been cutting?
