Do you smell that?
A short history lesson on the type of horses I show, the phrase “Fresh cattle” means a cow that has never been worked by a horse. We aren’t talking that the horse will eat the cattle… LOL

No I’m not pregnant…. as far as I know… No No NO….. Ok first off, nothing to do with this post… the husbands surgery went very well yesterday! His leg is swollen and ouchy but that’s to be expected. He’s not allowed to drive for 24 hours so he has a lovely Chauffeur 🙂 LOL….
As I stated yesterday, life around our house wasn’t the greatest this weekend. Last Thursday night when my parents got home, our mare, you know the one who is bred to the stud down in Texas I won last year, was sick. They didn’t know what was wrong with her so dad loaded her up…
For the record, It’s NOT me. Now back to regularly scheduled programming. haha. Since we’ve been home on this self-quarantine type whatever you want to call it, we’ve been doing a lot of riding. This has been our form of social distancing. But it has also been our form of not going mad in the…
And if Squirty is home, that means, she’s gonna have a baby! Yup! Our Mare got bred! Woopie!! So we got the phone call on Easter Sunday that she passed the 24-day heartbeat check and all looked good. They knew we were picking her up after that so they gave us a call so we…
One thing that hubby and I should have done was eaten breakfast the morning we drove to Hermann. By the time we got there, we were hungry and immediately hit up the Hermann Wurst Haus for lunch. We also made sure we ate enough food because we were planning on heading to Stone Hill Winery…
It is that time of the year… Peaches!! They are in full supply. I love peaches. They are so great to eat as is or you can can them for later. Like the dead of winter when you are wanting that zesty, sweet taste of summer. There are 2 ways to can, we’ll get to…

Have a great day!
Horses are such regal and beautiful creatures, you're lucky. I did not think you meant to eat the cows, of course I'm a vegetarian so I suppose I wouldn't 🙂

I'm not familiar with the headgear, bosal part of your gear. Looks interesting, like it would give you more lateral control than the bosal we use. Care to explain it?
How old is the horse? How long has it been cutting?
I really enjoyed reading the posts on your blog. I would like to invite you to come on over to my blog and check it out. God bless, Lloyd
