75 and counting

PC and I will leave each other numbers like this all the time on fb and you talk about driving people nuts! We did it with the count down to going to Ft. Worth last fall, we did it with buying our house, we’re doing it with our wedding. With Ft. Worth we even went down to hours, minutes, etc. Who knows what we’ll do with this wedding… anything is possible! We were having fun and the more people who got annoyed the more we did it. This time we aren’t being quite as vague… now it’s like, “75 days baby until I’m the Mrs.” or something like that. Or the one I tease him about, 75 more days until you’re stuck with me… LOL. He knows I’m kidding. (I hope…. maybe I should ask and actually quit doing that….)

Every now and again I share photos from our wedding slide show with you… I’m almost done… again :)!! It’s crazy to look back at these photos. I love them! But I’ve always loved photos so anyway here’s another 20. Yeah I know, that’s a bunch 🙂 Hey at least I warned you 🙂

PC always called his step dad “Massa Funky Hair.” Look at my hair there, I think I could have given Mike a run for his money! That’s me & my dad at a horse show. I’m riding my old show mare, Lena (registered name: Lena Quixote) and dad is riding my mom’s show mare China (registered name: Chinas Little Acre).

This is PC with his dad, my F-Fil

This is at my aunt & uncle’s house in Southern OK. The old town they lived in, population was 519. (in order, me, B & AC)

Look at him, isn’t he so adorable?

This is the type of horses I show. They are called Cutting Horses. The best 2 1/2 minutes of your life! Youtube it if you want to see the action 🙂

He looks so proud!

I represented the State of Missouri at the American Quarter Horse Youth World Show held in Ft. Worth, Texas, although I think they moved it either to Oklahoma City or Tulsa now.

Christmas morning! Yup he’s still that cute (IMO)

B & I both wanted overalls (or I guess insulated Bib’s) one year for Christmas. He’s as much of a little kid at Christmas as the rest of them! 🙂 It’s ok, it’s a good thing!

This was at a band competition.

I started showing sheep in high school as my SAE project for FFA. I went to the American Royal that year showing.

PC’s step dad hauled engines for Liebherr

This little lamb was cold so we made him a tshirt out of one of my dad’s old shirts. And that’s my beautiful Cocker Spaniel, Chanel.

This boy, I tell you what, he used to guilt trip me in high school band into carrying his Sousaphone to and from the parades b/c he had to carry that and all I had to carry was my little Clarinet.

This is me and my daddy on Father’s Day in 2002 I believe….

I hated high school pictures but he actually had some decent ones!

Me and my girl Chanel 🙂

haha… I love this, doesn’t he look so friggin happy 🙂

My cousin Krystal and my grandpa along with me on Christmas. This still had to be college years b/c Krystal got married and moved to Main in 2004.

PC with his daddy & his sister on high school graduation day!

Ok a small step inside our world again. I hope you had fun 🙂 and stuck through it. I have more photos to share of our house eventually when I find time to get them off my camera 🙂 Oh and check this out, I was featured on
Pearly Bloggers today! Woohooo!! Thanks Jen!

And my ring was featured on Sweetheart I Must Confess last Wednesday. Thanks ENS!!!

Peace, Love & memories

  1. Great pics. Only 75 days. I'm to lazy to actually figure out the exact date. And to lazy to look it up on your blog. I know it's there somewhere. Wow, I'm just lazy today.

  2. yeah it is a MinPin. His name was Batman. He died a few years ago. I didn't realize he was in that picture… LOL. Now grandpa has a new one and his name is Jake 🙂

  3. Fun pics!!! My hubby and I did the counting down thing toe, before our wedding. Every night we chatted on the phone, and would be like only 'insert #' days left!
