Book Review: White Lilies – Samantha Christy

Spread the love

Ah, finally, the next book in the trilogy. And I was right. We were able to learn about the middle sister without losing the first sister. Whew! I don’t have to be sad quite yet about losing my characters. I do have to say, this book threw me for a loop thought. A rather nice/odd loop.

White Lilies – Samantha Christy (A Mitchell Sisters Trilogy)

HER SELFLESS ACT.
Her best friend’s husband.
A twist of fate.

They wanted her to have their baby.
She was never supposed to fall in love with him
… or was she?

A story about unconditional love, heartbreaking loss, and undying friendship.

Note to reader: This series can easily be enjoyed out of order.
This book is a standalone novel. It is the second book in a series that follows three sisters.

Series reading order: Purple Orchids, White Lilies, Black Roses.

Due to adult language and sexual situations, this book is intended for mature audiences.

Thoughts

Again, I gave this 4 stars. I wanted 5, but… I just couldn’t. This was quite the story. I really want to give more words but I don’t want to give away things and I swear if I say anything it would give away. Now one thing I can and will say is, there is a disclaimer that there are sexual situations and adult language that makes this a mature audience book… but wow, the precursor to this book, Purple Orchids… WOW! It really was. Just saying. And while I love my Hallmark type stuff that is very PG, well… we’ll just leave it at that :).
