Week 5

How far along? It looks like 5 weeks…

Total weight gain/loss: Well I had gained 4 lbs previously but I’m back down to just 2 lbs up from the initial weigh-in…

How big is baby? Size of a Sesame Seed. Baby is a week .13 inches – and gearing up for much more growth. In fact, in the next week, baby will almost double in size. Grow baby grow!

  • The embryo doesn’t look like much more than a tadpole right now, but at five weeks, baby is already starting to form major organs (heart, stomach, liver, kidney) and systems (digestive, circulatory, nervous)

Maternity Clothes? I swear I need pants!

Stretch Marks? None other than originals

Best moment this week? um…… Sleep?  I like sleep!

Movement? too early

Food Cravings/Aversions? It’s more like when I’m full any food or even the thought of food makes me feel sick.

What I miss: My clothes fitting and not feeling like I look fat.  Right now I’m at the stage I’m not showing, I just look fat.

What I’m looking forward to: Not feeling like I haven’t slept in ages! Oh wait, I hear that never goes away…

Nausea/Vomiting? I haven’t felt bad this week.  I hear it hits around week 6… we’ll see.

Labor signs? Oh, good gravy I sure hope not!

Gender? Your guess is as good as mine!

Belly Button in or out? I have an inny thanks for asking 🙂

Wedding rings on or off? On, although strangely enough, my watch has been leaving marks on my wrist…

Sleep? I pretty well have woken up every morning this week feeling a though I haven’t slept in weeks.

Weekly Wisdom: Yeah I don’t have any other than remember to put a stamp on your letters you’re mailing but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with this… other than maybe this is already messing with my memory.  Oh gosh, let’s hope not!

Due Date: Thursday, June 26, 2014, based on internet results…

Sad Moments this week: We had a scare Thursday night thinking that I had miscarried.  I was standing at a Dive Club meeting.  We decided to go ahead and go to the Emergency room.  Good news though, so far everything is good to go.  We just were told to be careful.

Guys, It’s truly been a bit since I’ve decorated Sugar Cookies. The last ones I did for anyone were the Ladybug/Steampunk. They were done at the same time. Sunday night we hosted Sunday Night Dinner again.  Normally it’s always at Pokey & Earl’s (or as I affectionately renamed them Perky & Early) but this summer we volunteered a couple times since we had the pool.  Here before long we’ll have to shut it down so we thought, why not one more shabang!
