P.F. Changs – St. Louis, MO
Before hubby and I were going to see the Broadway Musical, West Side Story, we decided we should grab dinner. We had a gift card to an Italian restaurant so I plugged that into the GPS and she took us to the restaurant. We had to park in a parking garage and as we were emerging from the parking area, I started smelling something really good. It could have been that I was really hungry :). Anyway, we came out right in front of the P.F. Changs. I knew hubby was kind of getting tired of Italian and I asked if he’d be interested in P.F. Changs. He was like…. um… so I knew what that meant and we entered.
One of our favorite things to do here is to get the meal for 2. You get a starter soup, an appetizer to share, 2 entrees, and 2 mini desserts.
When they come to the table they bring these 3 sauces. One is a base, one is hot, one is something (I forget even though I’ve heard it a million times). Usually, they mix it up for you but the waiter seemed preoccupied the whole night so hubby went ahead and mixed the sauce up.
For our soup, we both went with the Egg Drop Soup.
For our appetizer, we went with the chicken lettuce wraps. If you’ve never tried these, you don’t know what you’re missing. Run, right now out and try them, if nothing else :).

Hubby went for the Crisp Honey Shrimp. He’s like, I’ve had the Crispy Honey Chicken and it’s good so let’s give this a whirl. He liked it :).

Sometimes I’m bad because I stick to the same old things, but if I know it’s good, why change :). Sometimes I change and don’t like what I’ve gotten… Anyway, I went with the Orange Peel Chicken. Now it says this is spicy but I’m not huge on spice and I don’t think it’s spicy at all. I just love it!

With both entrees, you get the choice of white or brown steamed rice. We both went with the brown rice.
Then it comes time for dessert. They are mini desserts or else you can get a full-sized to share. We both went for the Mini Tiramisu. When it comes to Tiramisu, we don’t share really well because we both love it so much… lol, j/k… kind of 🙂
When they bring the check to you, they also bring fortune cookies.
Now, remember, when you read fortune cookies you’re supposed to put “in bed” at the end because it just makes it fun :). Mine was the top fortune.
