ByNicoleI’ve been an avid reader of blogs for years. In fact, I’ve been an avid writer of blogs for years (don’t be fooled by this one just starting!). One blog that I started following years ago was called Can You Stay for Dinner? Earlier this spring while I was still finishing my Master’s Degree, I…

Alaska Zoo
ByNicoleWhile we were in Alaska, we made a trip to the zoo. My little loves the zoo. Honestly, I was very disappointed by the zoo. Heck, the little zoo we went to in Louisiana was much better than this zoo. I wonder if Covid-19 wasn’t part of the problem… but it felt like the zoo…
Story time
ByNicoleI decided instead of complaining that it’s snowing AGAIN and I heard on the radio another 4-6″… That I would share a story instead. Project 52: Clothes
ByNicoleThis is more typically how you’ll see me dressed… (as opposed to my work clothes) Cowgirl Couture haha fun fact, in college I wore the same size jeans since I was in 8th grade so I owned 37 pairs of jeans. 🙂

Ha ha Fun! It actually made me feel really smart! Thanks for the boost! 🙂
This was really interesting!
I did well 400 wrds /min and all 3 right! Thanks feeling like a genius this morning…not but I have always loved to read
I did pretty good too – 515 words/min – that was pretty cool.
Okay I got all three right but was super slower- 290 which is 16% more than national average. But Mary Poppins was playing the background and I heard it was my turn to play Dice with Lourie– so I think I was distracted. 🙂
Okay so I had to go back and this time I got 446– it took me a couple of seconds to hit finished the first time too I think
I scored 21% higher than the national average…I feel like I could do better if it was a really good book 😉 Although, I don't see the point of “speed” reading. If the book is over too quick I get very sad. Haha.
Um yeah, I do feel stupid. 289 words a minute. Which was 16% above the national average but below the national adult average. I only got 2 out of 3 on the test. For some reason the story confused me also. Ah I'm blaming it on mommy brain.!?
