ByNicoleSo the last few weeks at work I’ve been sitting through Continuous Improvement classes for an office building. We’re the first round of this because generally they do this type of thing at a manufacturing level. We’ve been learning about DMAIC, Mission & Vision statements, Team Charters, CPI vs CS (Continuous Improvement Processes vs Cost…

Holiday Eating Tips
ByNicole1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact, if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door, where they’re serving rum balls.2. Drink as much eggnog as you can. And quickly. it’s rare. You can’t find it any other time of year…

Ha ha Fun! It actually made me feel really smart! Thanks for the boost! 🙂
This was really interesting!
I did well 400 wrds /min and all 3 right! Thanks feeling like a genius this morning…not but I have always loved to read
I did pretty good too – 515 words/min – that was pretty cool.
Okay I got all three right but was super slower- 290 which is 16% more than national average. But Mary Poppins was playing the background and I heard it was my turn to play Dice with Lourie– so I think I was distracted. 🙂
Okay so I had to go back and this time I got 446– it took me a couple of seconds to hit finished the first time too I think
I scored 21% higher than the national average…I feel like I could do better if it was a really good book 😉 Although, I don't see the point of “speed” reading. If the book is over too quick I get very sad. Haha.
Um yeah, I do feel stupid. 289 words a minute. Which was 16% above the national average but below the national adult average. I only got 2 out of 3 on the test. For some reason the story confused me also. Ah I'm blaming it on mommy brain.!?
