  2. I saw the oddest thing one time. One of our geldings had a cut on his fetlock and all the other gelding stood around him and took turns licking it like a dog would do. I think the Cree Indians were on to something when they called a dog (Atim) and a horse (Atimw = big dog). The more I'm around both the more similarities I see which totally goes against the prey/preditor idea circulating now.
