No Man’s Land
ByNicole**I did not write this, Bruce Lauderdale did, but I don’t want to forget this writing either, so if you don’t want to read, don’t feel like you have to! This is just for me to always remember!** Every time I drive into No-Man’s land here in Joplin my one overwhelming, inescapable feeling/emotion is “There’s…
Our Newest Edition
ByNicoleBlondie sprouted! haha! Blondie is our momma mare. In fact, she’s the momma of our my Bucky! This year, we had it calculated when she was to foal, but she had other plans I guess. Two weeks after we thought she’d sprout, she finally did! One thing I did realize in all of this waiting……
365 – August – Photos 335-365
ByNicoleWell folks, I did it. I completed my 365 project. How on earth I’m not sure… and I swear this year, especially this last month has flown by. There were a few times I wasn’t sure if I would make it… but I pushed through. I can tell you, after that first 30 days then…
Bear-B… I miss you!!
ByNicoleThis was our sweet Bear-B (don’t ask why I called him that, couldn’t tell ya) just days before he came up missing. I found these pictures after he came up missing when I did a camera dump. I still hope he comes home but I’m losing hope :(. The poor dog probably wonders what’s wrong….
The Living Room Update

Maybe Squirty is thirsty. No?
She sticks her tongue out when she's excited, nervous, bored, it doesn't matter, mad… it's hilarious. And when she flails it at you, that's even more of a riot!
I saw the oddest thing one time. One of our geldings had a cut on his fetlock and all the other gelding stood around him and took turns licking it like a dog would do. I think the Cree Indians were on to something when they called a dog (Atim) and a horse (Atimw = big dog). The more I'm around both the more similarities I see which totally goes against the prey/preditor idea circulating now.
LOL, our Husky sticks her tongue out all the time also, its the funniest thing.
