Inside out Biscuits & Gravy!
I don’t know about you but I LOVE the comfort that biscuits & gravy have to offer but you can’t eat it on the run, that’s sad but true. Well when I met my husband, he made this fabulous breakfast food that is to die for! Ok maybe not die but it’s PDG (purdy darn gud (haha)). It’s basically Biscuits & Gravy inside out… hint: so you can eat it on the run! Plus if you make extra, pop them in a baggie and on into the fridge, then when you are ready pull them out, nuke them and you’re good to go again!!
Now the day I made these, I didn’t have full ingredients… I had partial ingredients… hey it all works the same, just halve it! oh yeah, you’re cookin’ now!
So here are the ingredients for the full meal, just remember when looking at my pictures, I only used half.
1 Block Cream Cheese
1 pkg Sausage, browned up & drained
Dry Sage seasoning (Yeah I forgot that in mine. You can also buy the sausage that already is seasoned with Sage, then just omit this, it’s optional anyway!)
2 Crescent Rolls (the refrigerated kind)
I swear, it tastes just like biscuits and gravy and it’s a lot less messier! Hope you enjoy!

When you say sausage, you're talking link sausage then? Or ground? Just curious.
Okay I'm a gluten free vegetarian so these would not be on my list but I think my daughter would love them! Going to forward her this recipe.
This looks so tasty! I'm with LindaG with her question, but I'm thinking in the US you can buy sausage out of it's casing…crumbled sausage right? I wish you could here….

Yum! I make a very similar recipe but more of a casserole style if that makes sense.. I should really try it this way to get my no breakfast hubby to eat on the go! Thanks for sharing!

Another question, sorry. When you add the cream cheese, you're no longer cooking anything, right? Just mixing in the cream cheese and then spooning it onto the open crescents.
