10 Things I'd Tell Myself When I Started Blogging | Blogtober '14
- Don’t compare your life to other people’s lives because a blog is only a snippet of their life anyway.
- Putting yourself out there will get you negative feedback. Don’t worry about them because the computer screen makes people feel invincible.
- Starting your blog when you did documents your whole live with one heck of a fabulous husband… although it could have been fun to start it a couple months earlier.
- Blogging is addictive.
- Sometimes you will hit writers block, just push through, you’ll be glad you did.
- There will be times when you want to call it quits… don’t.
- You will find products you didn’t even know existed through blogging. How cool is that? Although sometimes maybe not so much on the ol’ pocketbook.
- Your life is documented. You get burned out on scrapbooking, but it’s all there if you ever want to go back and scrapbook it, the information is there!
- Blogging will get you through some rough times/hard times in your life. It’s there. Your blog doesn’t judge you. Your blog doesn’t question you. It’s just there with “blank pages” for you to put your thoughts on.
- Your husband oddly enough loves your blog. He encourages you to write. He encourages you to keep it going. Yeah he gets annoyed a few times because of it… woops, but he’s there with you every step of the way through it.
