Potato Casserole

Since I had Jessica at Potato Salad yesterday (comments) I figured I’d share that recipe first 🙂

Are you ready?

Think you can handle it?

It’s delicious!

Potato Casserole

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients:
2 lbs frozen hash browns (the square kind)
1 small carton sour cream
1 small onion diced (you can use dried onion flakes)
1 can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
1 stick butter, melted
2-3 cups grated cheese
Corn Flakes

Place frozen hashbrowns in a bowl.  Add diced up onion.

Dump in your sour cream.

Add the cream of “something” soup.

Add the cheese.  don’t forget the cheese 🙂

And mix it all together!

Simple as that.
Then dumb into a greased baking dish.

Top with crumbled up corn flakes.

YUM!!!

Then drizzle with the melted butter.

I forgot to take a finished photo but basically it looks like the one up there before the butter pouring (which did you notice is completely out of focus…woops)

This is to die for… LOL ok maybe not quite to die for but it’s out of this world good 🙂

I request this at any holiday that I’m allowed to request food… LOL

Enjoy!

  1. Mmmmmm!!! This 'tader casserole is a standard at our big old Thanksgivin' bash! I love it!

God bless and have an amazin' day!!! :o)

  2. I keep seeing recipes with “cream of something soup”. Confession: I've never in my life bought a cream of something soup in a can to cook with – nothing. I've always wanted to do that old school cream of mushroom & baked chicken thing though — I might actually have to try it now.
