So the other night I went to a Zumba class with a friend. The cool down song was great. I love the song… so I thought, well I’ll come home, tell my husband and he can find it for me… WRONG! But not on his part, wrong on mine. I couldn’t remember the name of the song, who the artist was, the tune or even any of the words. I was so bummed!
So last night we spent hours googling it… but go figure, I wasn’t sure of words… I just thought I knew a few. So before we went to sleep last night my husband FINALLY figured out my song. How awesome is he! especially with NOTHING to base it off of. He’s fantastic. So now I’ll share it with you, plus it’ll be here so I’ll remember.
The best part is I’ve asked him 4 times this morning, Now who sang that song? What is the name of it. I think he’s getting tired of me asking!

I’ve been following a blog called Photo Freak for a while now, mainly because every time there is a photo contest and Tezzie is entered, I have to go check out what she’s entered! Well this photo contest that Photo Freak is hosting right now is “The best picture you have ever taken.”
Call me nuts but i think I’m actually going to participate. This is really taking myself out of my realm of comfort, that’s for sure! I’m just trying to learn all there is in photography and I’m a long way from being “GREAT” :(, but here goes nothing!
I took this photo I think in June and I just fell in love with it. I ran a little bit of post editing things over it but I personally like this photo, so please don’t be offended by it… LOL.

So Sunday I finally got to cross off another 101 in 1001. Wow it makes you feel like you are accomplishing things when you start seeing them come off the list! Although at the same time, it doesn’t seem like I’ve accomplished many, but when you think about it, one of them was to make every recipe in the Pioneer Woman Cookbook… yeah that takes a while! Especially since there are 64 recipes in her cookbook, but hey I’ve made 9 or 10. I’m getting there!
Anyway digressing…. One of the things I thought would be fun, is since I’m new to drinking wine, I thought it would be fun to do a wine tasting. Taste lots of different wines without buying a whole bottle and NOT liking it. I’m not a big drinker anyway, but this sounded like fun. We heard about a wine tasting that was held yesterday so we made plans to go.
I think there were 20 different tables set up. 4 were food tables and the rest were wineries. Most were from our area although I know I tasted wines from Oregon… maybe they just set up a table for those, I don’t know.
Tip #1 – Eat before you go to one of these!
Tip #2 – Try things that are out of the ordinary. If you don’t like it, dump the glass, wash it and try another!
Tip #3 – Eat while you are there too!
Tip #4 – Give your keys to your husband!
We didn’t eat lunch because they said that there would be food vendors there also. It wasn’t enough food for me. I think I got a little tipsy but I’m a cheap drunk and a light weight. Neither go together! I had such a headache last night. I’ve heard about these wine headaches but YUCK! We found some good ones. We found some not-so-good ones. We found some ok ones… There was a huge variety!
I also picked up my cell and started texting. (Hi Stephanie!!) I also learned that with an iPhone and a band aid on your thumb, texting doesn’t work so well. But that’s just a side note!

I did this list a year ago (oooo almost to the day, it was done November 12), however I added different photos this time around. I’m STILL waiting on my main photographer’s photos [sigh] so I’m sharing some of the back up photographer’s photos, and some PC’s dad took. There is one that I snagged from the Main photographer. I’ll try not to do this every month but definitely NO promises 🙂 You may just have to endure it 🙂 Can you believe it’s been 2 months already?

Today is my sweetheart’s 28th birthday! We actually took him out yesterday for a couple reasons:
1. Because we wanted too 🙂
2. Because today is Monday
3. Because we had his daughter this weekend
4. Although we get her on his birthday
5. But, he has class tonight from 6-9… so yeah that doesn’t work.
But Today is his actual birthday! Yey!!!
Now the story behind the wallet, this is great! A few weeks ago he was saying he wanted a new wallet. Actually he’s been saying this for a while now. But we were at a store that sold the type he carries and he saw this wallet and liked it. It was behind glass so we couldn’t see the price. He walked off b/c I told him I’d find out how much it was. The guys at the store worked with me! I told them I had to get it bought with out that guy (pointing at PC) knowing. They were like, ok how you paying. I told them my cc (hey I get points toward a cruise and keep it paid off, so sue me!). They said hand it to us and walk off we’ll get it back to you. So when PC walked away from me the guy handed me my cc and the wallet and I buried them in my purse. PC had asked me how much the wallet was and I told him $80 so that he’d leave it alone :). I was so afraid that I’d been caught a few weeks ago when PC was looking for his glasses and dug through my purse, but he says (I hope he isn’t pulling a fast one on me) that he didn’t look in the zippered part where I put the wallet.
One of his favorite restaurants is TGI Friday’s. He told me not to make a big deal of it but if that’s what my husband wanted, that’s what he got :). Here is the cheesecake he had for his birthday and oh was it to die for!
