Week 11

How far along? 11 weeks 6 days

Total weight gain/loss: After a weekend in Ft. Worth I hit the 10lb gain mark.

How big is baby? The size of a Lime. Baby is about 1.6 inches long and has a 1:1 head to body ratio.  Baby now weighs about .25 ounces.

  • You can’t see it but baby is moving fluidly and gracefully in there.
  • Their skin is see through but it’s on the way to looking more like a baby.
  • Fingers and toes aren’t webbed anymore.
  • Tooth buds, hair follicles and nail beds are forming.

Maternity Clothes? Well, no, not yet… but I have still been wearing hubby’s t-shirts because I feel like I look fat.  I happen to know for Christmas that Maternity clothes are in my future.  I did get a Christmas pregnancy shirt (see above) that says Jingle Bellies :).

Stretch Marks? None that I know of other than originals

Best moment this week? When delivering Christmas gifts of Cinnamon rolls some of my family friends congratulating hubby and me and asking all about it.  I did happen to tell one of our friends that my dad needed a new loper :).

Movement? too early to feel but we sure saw it moving on the ultrasound!  Yes, we saw an ultra sound picture again.  They were able to get the heartbeat on the heartbeat machine this time.  Somewhere in the 150 beats/minute.  We had something weird happen, again (like at the 6 week mark) and wound up at the drs. office checking things out. All is okay.

Food Cravings/Aversions? While in Ft. Worth, all that rich food was starting to get to me so by the time dinner came I had difficulty eating.

What I miss: My clothes fitting.  Actually having a lot of clothes that fit.

What I’m looking forward to: Not looking like I have a beer belly 🙁

Nausea/Vomiting? I’ve been fighting the sick feeling on and off.  I think one day this week I over did it and the next day I felt horrible.

Labor signs? Oh good heavens no.

Gender? Don’t know but I can tell you we’re finding out.

Belly Button in or out? still in.

Wedding rings on or off? On. Although it is difficult to wear your rings when you leave them at your mom’s.  Just saying.

Sleep? um… naps are great.

Weekly Wisdom: I’m kind of paranoid with all the scares I have but at least now we know whats going on and that everything is okay.  Plus I got to hear the babies heart beat and see it yesterday.

Due Date: Thursday June, 26, 2014.  They’re using this as the due date again.
