Chiefs Preseason vs 49ers

Friday night it was time to head to our home away from home… That’s right… Chiefs Kingdom. This time we were out for a Preseason game on a Friday night. I have to say, I’ve never been to Chiefs Stadium on a Friday night but it was beautiful. The weather was gorgeous. And the fact that it was preseason, not everyone was in the stadium… BUT, the feeling was still there. They were in our house.

I saw a quote here while back that said, all Football teams have a city, we have a whole kingdom. Why yes, yes we do.

Sadly we lost this game to the 49ers 27/17. I heard someone say this will probably be the only win the 49ers have, I had to giggle there. Guess we’ll wait and see. Bring on the rest of preseason followed by SEASON!

There is one magazine I love to get and that’s Food Network. I really credit Food Network for my love of cooking. Truthfully it was my grandma’s (both of them), but when I went to college I kind of lost that until I stumbled across Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meals show… I then somehow became…

  • The Christmas Train

Earlier this month my dad was reading the Big Nickel newspaper and saw that the Christmas train happened this last weekend. One day it was from Seligman, MO to Rogers, AR and I don’t remember the other day. I don’t remember because we were planning on the Saturday trip, we had plans for that Sunday….
