Lab Owners…

Spread the love

Hmmmm…..

1.   Labrador Retriever
It was probably a Lab who inspired the saying “A tired dog is a good dog.” Plan to teach your Lab tricks, and get him involved in dog sports if you don’t want to see just how much destruction he can do when he’s bored. Some Labs even make great jogging partners, but hip dysplasia is prominent in the breed, so get him checked by your vet before hitting the running trails. Need a reminder as to why you need to provide structured activities for your Labrador from day one? We have one word: Marley

  1. From personal experience of 4 labs, I'd say that they're mainly a laid back couch potato of a dog…except for the puppy days, of course, like all dogs! That said, they're up for playing, running, or swimming whenever the owner suggests it, but it hasn't been my experience that they're destructive when lacking structured activity. A little play, some cuddles, and a good walk every day will keep them happy <3 They're sweet, loving, smart, fun, and devoted dogs. I can't imagine owning any other breed!

  2. Sounds like they're just like people. Each with their own personality.
    Still, it's worth considering. :o)
You all have a wonderful week!
