SND – You never know what to expect

    ByNicole May 1, 2013September 12, 2017

Ah, the famous Sunday Night Post.  I know, we’re real famous but hey, it’s my blog, I can believe we are :). One thing we like is our Sweet Tea.  We go through a bunch of it, so Earl tries to stay on top of it by brewing extra, but don’t worry, when we run…

There are ALWAYS things to smile about!

    ByNicole April 30, 2013February 21, 2018

So today is another wonderful round of 10 Things to Smile About.  This month kind of rared it’s ugly head at me, but there are still wonderful things to smile about this month! 1.  Does Easter 2013 count?  I mean technically it was the very end of March, but I’m soooo counting it![youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hPROlpOdQU] 2. …

    Here's to the Future

    ByNicole April 29, 2013

Like many of us, I am a creature of habit.  It is comfortable when things go the same way, day in and day out.  Get up, go to work, come home, do my workout, play with the pooches, eat dinner, spend time with hubby, throw in some horse back riding and time with the {step}daughter,…

    Happy Birthday

    ByNicole April 27, 2013July 27, 2017

Today is my Great Auntie E’s 91st birthday.  Tbug, hubby and I brought her, my grandma (who is recovering from her surgery) and Auntie E’s “boyfriend” some Cherry Pie and homemade Honey Wheat Bread. Happy Birthday Auntie E.  You’re still a cracker jack!

    Today

    ByNicole April 27, 2013

Listening: To Tbug talk about her computer game she’s playing and the steady rain hitting the roof. Waiting: on the fearless hunters to return from Turkey Hunting. Laying: in bed under the electric blanket, not because I’m cold, but that may be why. Trying: to gather up my words and thoughts. Greatful for: My amazing…

Life Turns and Morel Mushroom Hunting

    ByNicole April 25, 2013August 7, 2017

This has been a day of emotional roller coaster rides.  But on the plus side, the positive side, the side that matters, my mother-in-law and my husband have been there for me in a time I really needed someone.  Then my dad met hubby and I for lunch and gave me more soothing words.  Things…

    The Shack: Nacho Night

    ByNicole April 24, 2013July 27, 2017

Nacho night was a big hit in my opinion. Everyone was told to bring Tortilla chips, I’d say we faired nicely, especially since there are more than what’s in this photo.  Now we have chips for a while. Liss brought Cheese dip that had white cheese in it. Angela brought Spinach Artichoke Dip.  Yum!

Revolt & A Walk Down Memory Lane

    ByNicole April 24, 2013September 19, 2017

So I just finished my Revolt workout for tonight.  I can’t even begin to tell you how much my muscles are quivering.  Hubby says that’s a good thing and that they should quiver more.  I’m not so sure about that, I about dropped my cup I was trying to take a drink out of… Sadly…

    The Shack: Asian Theme Night

    ByNicole April 23, 2013February 21, 2018

Hubby and I weren’t sure we were going to be able to make Tuesday’s at the Shack last week because of grandma’s surgery on her leg after falling last Monday.  After we left the hospital we ran home so I could change clothes.  I walked into the shack eating a Popsicle.  They gave me fits…
