TGIF!!!!

So the weekend that my grandfather passed away, my grandma’s house had more dogs in it than people at one point.  My grandparents have a MinPin named Jake and my uncle has a Sheltie named Roxie

Then when PC and I ran over we had Audrey with us so if you can count, that makes 3.  Then when my aunt from Texas got here she brought her 4 dogs with her.  Zoey who is a Schnauzer.

Then there was Coh-cheese who was a Siberian Huskey and was a big Chicken.  In fact my aunt called her Big Chicken most of the time.  She wouldn’t come out to see anyone unless she was behind my aunt poking her head out.  Then there was Athena & Pete who were both Welsh Corgi’s.

I would say if you were any at all allergic to dogs, don’t go to my grandparents house 🙂

In other news that is totally non-related I kept my car clean for an entire month.
Here are the before shots:
Please note the clothes… I’d been staying at my parents, I don’t usually carry around clothes, but yes my car has a tendency to be this messy, hence the reason for the challenge.

So I took on the challenge and here are the after shots:
Please note, there are no shots in between this month time… so you have to take my word for it, but my car was this clean the whole time.  It would look a little neater if I’d have folded the blanket in the backseat up.  And yes I carry a blanket around with me, winter’s a comin!

I just seriously felt like including this photo.  The photo does the sky no justice, but it was BEAUTIFUL the day we witnessed this!

And today’s post was a little scattered.  That’s how I feel.  I’m so happy it’s Friday!!!  I think I’ll sleep in tomorrow morning… oh wait, nope my mom has other plans.  I have to meet up with her… oh well maybe I’ll go to bed early… ;)… yeah that won’t happen either 🙂

Happy Friday everyone!!!

Nicole

    Hot Corn Dip

So… April 5-7th is when you should plant your corn-based off of the 2012 Farmer’s Almanac.  In fact, if you read it more specifically it says the first day for planting corn.  So April 5th… you should be planting your corn.  I’m just saying :).  And be sure to plant a few extra ears for…

  1. Sometimes it's good to have scattered posts like this, Nicole-I loved it! You have covered so many things and now I feel I have caught up on all of your news!

Now, off you go and clean your car…only kidding! Go and have a great weekend!

    Best wishes always,
    Natasha.

  2. Wow, good job! I wish I could keep my vehicles that clean! I manage to keep most of it picked up, but the dogs make sure there is plenty of hair on the seats and nose-prints on the windows 🙂
