Strawberry Bread

Just picture this, It’s Saturday morning.  It’s chilly outside.  There’s a warm fire place in the living room.  You just woke up from a relaxing and peaceful sleep.  The birds are chirping.  The sun is rising.  The dogs have been let out to do their business.  All seems right in the world.

Then you actually open your eyes to the dogs making a mess and needing outside, you know this because the whimpering has you wide awake.  You crawl out of the covers and realize the fire went out over night, so it’s chilly in the house.  You find your slippers, one of which has a big gouge missing because apparently the pup was hungry.  You stumble over the pile of laundry that needs to be folded.  You can’t find the light switch so you walk down the hallway in the dark while stubbing your toe.  Let the dogs out and then head to the kitchen to find something, but you aren’t sure what, only to realize you left last nights dinner out because you forgot about it.

Now which one of these actually sounds like your morning.  I know which one mine is and boy wouldn’t that first one be awesome!

So while you’re looking for some sanity in your life, how about you make some Strawberry Bread.  That’ll at least warm you up from the inside :).  Happy Saturday.
