How do you Eat an Oreo?

**pardon the photo quality, I was using my point & shoot and it’s definitely not like the dSLR…**

How do you eat an Oreo?

Dipped in Milk?

Or
Do you eat the cream filling out first?

Seems like no one eats an Oreo both ways….

BUT
Have you ever tried it this way?
Ingredients
1 Box Cake Mix (plus all ingredients needed to make the mix)
1 Package Oreo’s
Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Follow the directions on the cake mix box and make your cake mix.

Once the cake mix is made, now comes the fun and messy part 🙂

Open the package of Oreo’s and try to resist eating one or 2 or the whole package.  Maybe you should buy an extra package?!?! I’m just sayin 😉

You are going to dip the Oreo’s in the cake batter like so:

Make sure the Oreo is completely covered, even if you have to turn it a few times.

Then place in a greased muffin tin.

**note: a normal cake mix box says to fill the muffin tins up 2/3rds full.  Don’t worry about this.  Just place what is on the cookie and that’s good enough.  Now where my fingers were holding the cookie, it left some cookie showing, just take a drop of batter and fill that part of the cookie in and move on.**

Place muffin pan in the oven (and remember to set the timer!!).  Set the timer for 10 minutes.

When they are done, this is the finished product.

You’ll notice they aren’t as tall as “normal” cupcakes but they are oh so good.  Now you don’t have to ice them, or you can (aka frost).  I took icing with me and let people ice them as they wanted 🙂

**note: I used Double Stuffed Oreo’s (grabbed the wrong package) so there were only 34 cookies in the package.  That didn’t use up all the cake batter.  Probably about half or slightly more.

I used a Funfetti cake mix.  One of the recipes I saw said you could use a Red Velvet Cake mix.  I say be experimental!

And I won’t lie, I was a little skeptical at first but YUM! (I was good though I only ate 1 cupcake Oreo and 3 Oreo’s… come on, I had to get my photos somehow ;)… LOL)

(and if you do the math, 1 cupcake Oreo, 1 with milk and 1 where the middle was eaten out… that’s only 3… I ate one before I began all of this too 🙂 Don’t tell though)

And one more thing… I can’t for the life of me remember where I saw this recipe, if it came off your blog (I do remember it came off a blog), please let me know so I can link up to it!!!
