Sonic Breakfast Review

If you haven’t been to a Sonic or even heard of a Sonic, I must ask you, what rock do you live under?  I mean, that might be mean to say, but if you watch tv or listen to the radio, you’ve probably definitely heard the annoying sonic commercial guys.

Anyway, Saturday morning, we decided to head to Kansas City for the day.  On our way headed north, it was breakfast time so we decided to stop in at the Sonic in Lamar and get breakfast.

The cool thing is their menu is served all day… but don’t worry, we went for Breakfast food this time.

Tbug went with the CroisSonic Breakfast Sandwich with bacon

CroisSONIC Breakfast Sandwich
Fluffy egg and melted American cheese on a soft, buttery* croissant with your choice of savory sausage or crispy bacon.
*Contains natural and artificial butter flavors.

She ate almost all of it.  I think hubby had a bite or two of it.  I didn’t try it but it looked delicious! and Tbug said she was happy with her choice.

I got the Sonic Breakfast Burrito with Bacon!

Breakfast Burrito
How do we get this much SONIC® goodness into a simple breakfast burrito? Maybe it’s magic. Or maybe it’s just the right amount of fluffy scrambled egg, melty cheddar cheese and either crispy bacon or savory sausage wrapped up in that warm flour tortilla. We’ll let you figure it out for yourself.

Oh yum!  I ate it all.  Shame on me!

Now hubby went with the Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito.  (which I forgot to take a picture of #bloggerfail)

Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito
Let the big flavor of the SuperSONIC® Breakfast Burrito get you out of bed. A medley of savory sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, melty cheddar cheese, golden tots, diced onions, ripe tomatoes and spicy jalapeños all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla. It’ll sing to your taste buds. Which, if you ask us, is a pretty cool way to start your morning.

He was pleased with his choice too :).  We all got sweet tea because let’s face it, they make good sweet tea.  But don’t worry, they didn’t ask if I wanted to add Vanilla to that this time :).

And since there was snow on the ground, how appropriate for them to have a Snowman Sonic Worker 🙂

One place that is near and dear to our hearts is Ol’ South Pancake House.  One good thing is they are open 24 hrs, however don’t plan on walking in and immediately getting a seat at 2am, because it probably won’t happen.
