Lauren’s Guest Post
When I was younger I couldn’t wait to grow up. Why? Because I could decorate my own house. I remember looking at all those magazines – Southern Living, Women’s Day, etc – and they had all those BEAUTIFUL houses decorated for the holidays like so:
And I had wonderful ideas that I would be able to do these crafts.
My stockings would be placed on the mantel and would either be rustic chic or very cowboy country.
I would have special drinks such as peppermint hot chocolate
With these cute little ginger bread houses on the side of the cups.
And of course for the adults we’d have a signature drink – Cranberry Margarita’s for example.
Warm, fun and yummy Christmas treats.
And last but not least, I’d have beautiful nails for the Holidays. That were painted, not chipped, and beautiful just like the rest of my Christmas I had planned.
So far as an adult our Christmas holidays haven’t quite been like this. I’m still hoping for the best. If you have a Christmas like the one I’ve been describing, please come decorate my house for Christmas, won’t you please :).
Thank you Lauren for having me today. I hope you’re having a wonderful vacation. And if you’re one of Lauren’s jealous friends, just like I am of her vacation, come visit me and let me know you said hello!
