The Tale of the Screaming Baby

Have you heard this one? No? Well, let me tell you, this is quite the story :).

A week ago I was home trying to get some homework done before I had to leave and go to class and I had a screaming baby on my hands. That isn’t the best environment conducive to studying I can tell you.

Hubby and I aren’t really for the pacifier thing, but I’d rather give her that then have her suck on her thumb… I can take a pacifier away… But the question was… where did the stinking pacifier go? There are 2 of them that she loves… but I couldn’t find either one of them. Oy!

I had just had her laying on her daddy’s side of the bed and I know she just had that thing… but I couldn’t find it to save my life. And I had a mad baby on my hands.

I got up out of bed and started searching all over the bed, under the covers/sheets, under the baby, on the floor. Notta. Really? We just had that… and she has 2… I couldn’t find either one of them.

So I went searching behind the pillows. She can’t roll over. She can’t crawl. But she can spit pacifiers quite the distance…

Really? It fell behind her daddy’s pillow. Oy!

I learned baby girl can spit. We should enter her in a Watermelon seed spitting contest! Anyone know where there are some around? :).
