“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!”
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month. He also declared that the third Sunday in July would be National Ice Cream Day.
Ok so this may be the most boring vlog to date, but I wanted to share anyway. I took you on chore feeding time at the farm. I know I go in way more detail than you probably care and yada yada, but again, I just wanted to share. Hope I don’t bore you tooooo much!
A few weeks ago when we went to the lake for the Safari Hunt, the Friday before hubby signed us up for Scuba Diving classes. So that meant that the following Tuesday night we were headed to class at Extreme Sports Scuba, the same group who put on the Safari Hunt.
While we were down at the lake I talking to Grady and D the Man about sticking my toe straight up in the air, which just so happens to be like a thumbs up. Thumbs up means going to the surface when you’re in the water. How cool is that? So they both wanted me to do this to poor Deb, who got stuck teach our class :).
In the mean time, I thought it would be fun to paint my toes up like the Diver Flag, so not only would I give her a thumb toes up, it’d include the Diver’s Flag.
So Here’s how to paint your toes up to look like a Scuba Diver’s Flag also….:
First things first… if you have toenail polish on currently, get rid of that stuff!
You want to be working with a clean slate. Plus trim your toenails if they need it. Mine were in need.
When we headed to Branson, we had our first day planned, but the second was opened up more for interpretation… basically, what ever we decided at the end, we’d do. Nothing holding us back. After Breakfast, we chose to Ride the Ducks. We’d seen it many times we’ve been down here, but never tried it. Now seemed as good of time as any.
Our tour guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable and funny to boot. We got duck quackers that we wore around our neck and any time he told a bad joke, we were supposed to quack him. I really think I quacked him most of the time. He also said the best tourist attraction in Branson was, “The Walmarts,” lol.
After we left the Water Park down in Branson, we decided we were hungry. While we were in the park we decided that we would just leave around 2 and go get something to eat on our way to our hotel. We ate breakfast that morning as we passed through Springfield and weren’t going to be eating dinner until later so it worked perfectly.
As we were driving down the main “strip” of Branson we saw Shorty Smalls and decided we loved it so much in Oklahoma City that we’d just eat lunch there.
